Jury

The Pink Apple Award will be awarded by an independent jury of experts. Films submitted for the film contest must not be older than 2 years, and should be Swiss premiers if possible. They should captivate their audience and should be adequately crafted.

Sabine Rock is a freelance photographer for non-profit organisations, pursues personal projects in Switzerland and abroad, and also works for the “Zürichsee-Zeitung” and the “Tages-Anzeiger” as a press photographer. She was responsible for numerous radio programmes on Zurich’s local radio station LoRa from 1991 through 2004.

Martin Mühlheim studied English, History and Filmology, and has held the position of assistant lecturer at the English Department of the University of Zurich since 2004 (currently writing his doctoral thesis on “Fictions of Home”). He regularly writes for the “HAZ-Magazine” in Zurich.

Werner Widmer runs the gallery Widmer+Theodoridis Contemporary in Zurich, where he exhibits provocative and unconventional art works from various creative areas such as photography, video, installation and drawing. His own creative activities not only involve needle and thread, but also photo- and movie cameras.

Barbara Wiggli studied Sculpture in Bonn from 1987 to 1990, and since then has been a freelance artist in the areas of sculpture, sketching, photography, mixed media and art and buildings. She has been awarded various prizes and grants. Lives in Solothurn and Bellach.
